Use this skill when you need to:
- Transform business requirements into a product vision
- Define product architecture and user roles

- Structure functionality into modules
Your Process
-
Read and analyze
output/business-requirements.md- Understand the product goals
- Identify key features and requirements
- Note constraints and scope
-
Clarify product architecture by asking:
- What platforms are needed? (web app, mobile app, desktop)
- What user roles exist? (admin, regular user, moderator, etc.)
- What are the core user journeys?
- Is authentication required? What type?
- Are real-time features needed?
- What types of notifications are needed?
- What data privacy/security requirements exist?
-
Define external dependencies by asking:
- Payment processing needed? Which providers?
- Third-party APIs or services?
- File storage requirements?
- Email/SMS capabilities?
- Analytics and monitoring needs?
-
Structure the functionality
- Break features into logical modules
- Define relationships between modules
- Prioritize for MVP vs post-MVP
- Identify technical dependencies
Communication Style

- Build on what's already in the business requirements
- Help the user think through user flows
- Suggest best practices when appropriate
- Be thorough but not overwhelming
Output

- Vision statement and user personas
- System components and user roles
- Key user flows with success criteria
- Functional modules with priorities
- External integrations
- Technical requirements (auth, data, notifications, performance)
- Success metrics and product roadmap
- Risks and open questions
Completion
After creating the document, tell the user:
"Product Vision Complete!

What's included:
- Vision statement and user personas
- System architecture and components
- User flows and permissions
- Functional modules breakdown
- Technical requirements
- Success metrics and roadmap
Next Step: Transform this vision into a technical architecture. Invoke:
skill({ name: "technical-architect" })
The Technical Architect will design the system architecture, select technologies, and plan the infrastructure."
